About Saddleback Lodge

We invite you to stay with us and be a part of our guest family, even if it is only for a little while.

We are dedicated to providing you with the most wonderful experience you can find. We have worked hard to create a special, friendly atmosphere where you can get a glimpse of Buffalo River Country while enjoying the beautiful Ozark Mountains and all the peace and quiet one could hope for.

Saddleback Lodge was our dream home, but was built late in life when our kids were almost ready to leave the nest. We love our family get-togethers here, but now want to share our dream home with you.

We hope you will take some time to reconnect with your loved ones while visiting the Buffalo National River Park, America’s first National River. The River flows 135 miles through the majestic Ozark Mountains and offers many outdoor adventures. Canoe the river, explore the trails, drive the scenic routes, or view the famous Arkansas Elk herd in the Boxley Valley. The Lodge is in the heart of the Upper Buffalo National River Park and just minutes from where the River flows through the historic Boxley Valley. Floating the Buffalo is fun and exciting, but the adventures don’t stop there. Allow the Upper Trails to take you to historic home sites and numerous waterfalls, including the most popular, Lost Valley; most photographed Arkansas Landmark, Hawksbill Crag; or the highest waterfall between the Rockies and the Appalachians, Hemmed-in Hollow at 250 feet.
